Intel is already working on 48-core chips, but don't expect them anytime soon

Computer nick manufacturer Apple has already been focusing on a 48-core processor, which may change the way you use mobile phones and pills.

Along with its saving battery energy - by setting individual tasks to a particular cores instead of needing to share the workload - features for example speech recognition and augmented reality on mobile products would evolve.?

Apple told Computerworld how even watching a higher-definition video could be enhanced, as different cores would have the ability to decode individual frames, leading to some more seamless viewing experience.?

Current mobile phones and tablet products are often limited to dual or quad-core processors, which limits the performance amounts of mobile products.

However, although Apple states it's focusing on 48-core chips for mobile phones and pills, it appears we won&rsquot be seeing them for between five and 10 years.
