RIM has released an update to Rim Messenger (BBM) that reveals the opportunity to make free voice calls with other?Rim?customers over Wi-Fi. Think Apple's The face-time with no "Face".
Known as BBM Voice, the brand new area of the messenger service enables customers either to call another Rim owner directly or instantly switch from text to speak and again, when they want. Gleam split screen feature to ensure that customers can talk and text simultaneously.
BBM Voice works without anyone's knowledge so that you can talk while checking emails, other text?conversations?or perhaps navigate with other applications. And it is suitable for Rim add-ons, like a Wireless headset or wired earphones. The speakerphone function may also be used.
Another new feature to reach with BBM 7 involves its integration having a user's Rim ID. It now supports your BMM profile, groups and contacts to ensure that you are able to change to another phone but retain your BBM configurations. Rim 10 anybody?
BBM 7 has become obtainable in Beta for Rim mobile phones running Rim 6 OS or greater. Rim 5 OS support follows. It may be downloaded in the Rim Beta Zone free of charge at world wide web.Rim.com/betazone.
