Google planning AirPlay rival for Android

YouTube second screen feature only the start

It's being reported that Bing is focusing on an adversary content streaming technology to Apple's AirPlay. Getting already integrated audio and video delivering capabilities to the YouTube application for Android, that will "send" a clip for your Google Television set or set-top-box, the organization would be to explore more extravagant wireless functionality.

Talking with GigaOm, Google product manager Timbo Drayson stated the YouTube Google TV compatibility was simply the initial step in company plans. "We actually want to move the entire industry forward," he stated.

Drayson also described the software giant is dealing with tool and audio equipment producers to be able to unify google's system being an open standard. The organization is "positively dealing with othersInch, he described.

Obviously, Android products already are - overall - DLNA capable, which already enables these to talk and stream content backwards and forwards among similarly capable products.
